Roshan How To Add Min

Accessories noviembre.Málaga.Cita

The love of fabrics made this curious Barcelona, Emma Brown, began to design bags. Only one of each class, which experience different techniques and is slowly creating their own universe. Know a bit more to "Mia Accessories."

- you have a store on etsy and facebook web , but we could decr who you are.

My name is Emma, was born in Barcelona and I'm still here because I can not live far from the sea and sun.

- What has this city's most creative designers are there, is it a source of inspiration?

Barcelona in its recent history has allowed the designers, some still active, having served as icons of the city. And although Barcelona have a lot of design culture, I believe that opportunities are scarce, and there is no economic facilities to raise personal project.

But beyond that, I think what attracts and inspires Barcelona is its architecture, good weather, the light that is, its size, lifestyle ... and the sea. And all this gives rise to so many people with concerns and wanting to make room for creativity (in all areas)

- Why did you decide to become a designer and realizacción enfocasta the bag?

The truth is that cost me my life to this approach. I studied interior design and I have always kept a studio space at home. I have accumulated all sorts of tools and materials out of curiosity to experiment with different techniques.
At school I work from 6 years and since then I knew that I liked. So combining the two sides came to the construction of bags among other things.

-Tell us how to think, what materials you use, what inspires you, how you work ...

different things inspire me to travel but it is perhaps the most, though not as much as I like to do. I like fabrics with body, texture and color. Practical experience of my best work system.
- What do you want to become Mia Accessory s? Goals?

always try to be in a quality product, well finished as far as possible and want that to evolve more and more.

- Finally, what advice would you give to those people interested in hand made it want to pursue it as a business.

is difficult to give advice in this area, because for me it is not a business that still live. Perhaps in a few years I can utmost account of this question:)

- Anything else?

I would like to thank Alicia for making possible the Festivalet , an event with a variety of shapes and colors, so I encourage you to visit us!

21 Interview with Fashion

Many estarásn nervous at this time, something swirling in the stomach, a feeling of giddiness and joy, metal, designed, deep, it's been there since began to hatch this adventure.

I imagine the conversation this way:

- Why not rent an entire hotel for a day, most pointer in the design. The Room Mate Lola, for example!
- attacked him?
"No, we paint!
- How?
"Well, we used the hotel as exhibition space for 26 fashion designers for a day. Each can decorate your room how you want, as best defined by the creator.
"I have another idea, and if they also organize conferences at CEA. "La Casita de Wendy? José Castro?
- Not bad ...
- we start?
"Let's start.

Something I should spend a day of these in the study Mother of the Beatles. Until today, or rather, until Saturday, many hours stolen from sleep and effort to create a meeting between lovers, designers and those who love the design. The date is Saturday November 21 at Hotel Room Mate Lola in Malaga, all information Here .
toast to what they dare to imagine, create, launch and try to be better every day. All the luck in the world, Mother ;-)

Funny Phrases In Spanish

APA APA editorial appeared in the Festivalet. Mystery revealed

is much talk últimanente about the disappearance of the book as we know, others are unable to imagine life without turning pages and enjoy the aroma of a text "brand new". Just love the plunge and go with the feelings, and a deep knowledge of the subject, made Joan Antoni Mascaro, Fani Manresa y Gabriela Miciulevicius create their own publishing house to enjoy what they really like: the COMISCA.

feel the rustle of leaves, fill you with words, images and especially with the heartbreaking story is a luxury to reach all who attend Festivalet . APAAP

is the name of your editorial. What is your philosophy? APAAP

is a small comic book publisher in Barcelona. We have been working more or less about two years during which we have published a dozen titles. The idea from the beginning has been to give unpublished authors known in Spain in our country but is widely recognized in the middle and junior researchers. At first we focus on authors of the "underground" U.S.: James Kochalka, John Porcellino, Dash Shaw. Little by little, we also incorporate some national authors as Philip Almond and Sergi Puyol.

"You work from Barcelona, where very soon you will exhibit at the Festivalet . What is the city that designers, editors, writers, creative are there, is it a source of inspiration?

is true that Barcelona is a major hub in terms of cultural and creative production. In our case, the truth is that it is a coincidence.

- Why did you decide to dedicate to the world of comics?

decided to enter the world of comics because it's something that appeals to us as readers. Two of the people that make up the editorial work in a bookstore and the fact of having a lot of material import, unprecedented in Castilian was the impetus for us to launch the project. The truth is that was a somewhat "kamikaze." Did not really know what we were facing, but we went and we also learn on the fly.

"How is your creative process, how come the stories or the writers seek, your editorial, how you work ... Basically we

much internet. Evaluated among the three materials we received and based on our tastes, we decided. As we explained you before, the bulk of the catalog consists of authors of the American underground (Kochakla, Porcellino, Zac Sally, Sammy Harkham) and novice (Dash Shaw, Liz Prince). A few months ago we launched a mini collection (Clip-Clip) that is intended to make known authors here. At the moment we only have two: Elisa Smile and Sergi Puyol. And recently, we published a comic Felipe Almendros, who is an author here in Barcelona.

- What you want to become APAAP What are your goals?

The truth is that after two years we are very pleased with the reception given to Apa-Apa in publishing. To some extent the effort to do so that everything goes ahead is enormous, as we all we have another job which is what feeds us and do the editorial work in our spare time. We were treated very well from the beginning, both readers and the press, have encouraged us to follow. Perhaps this recognition "verbal" is not reflected on the numbers, but we hope that eventually we can build the project and, perhaps, to devote to it fulltime.

-Finally, what advice would you give to those people interested in leading cultira in the publishing world that moves between the abyss of paper or digital.

Advice? Well, it is difficult to give advice in that regard. Personally, we're pretty fetish in that the book is about and especially if it's a comic. I can not imagine, for example, a book by Chris Ware in digital. But surely, in the future, one thing and another co-exist.

Thank you, here's a reader more!

Horse Winner and final clue Dumbo II

More and more designers that they look to traditional techniques, the rediscovered, or simply have always used, as is the case Sol y Paz ( Horse Winner ), which have created a world of jugglers called amigurumi dolls, but also with ilsutraciones embroidered badges cross stitch and, as always, more, many more surprises and a clue ;-)
- Who are Horse Winner?

We Sol y Paz, fashion designers and pattern makers, and Horse winner is the workshop of handmade work with the cross stitch, crochet and fabric to make badges, amigurumi, bags and accessories. -
- Barcelona, where he soon happen a special event I simply will give us a clue, is your headquarters. What has this city The most creative designers are there, is a source of inspiration?

spoken The event will take place in about a month and will be very special! We are ilusionadas.Barcelona has been fashionable in design issues for a long time, and this has been "sold" well, the truth is that being a cosmopolitan city with a great cultural movement, there are always new things, new people , new store ... is a source of constant inspiration.
- Why did you decide to be designers and focuses on a specific technique such as crochet or cross stitch? You planning to expand your designs by other traditional techniques.
Me (Sol ) design I've always liked, from small and thought to devote to this. Use crochet or cross stitch as a further means, as well as using fabrics, knitting needles or the silkscreen to carry out my ideas.
For my part (Peace ) interested me as a little craft. Now I'm studying Industrial Pattern internalizing the world of patterns for handmade accessories.
"How is your creative process, what materials you use, what inspires you, how you work ...
When creating the two we like more or less the same things, so that side there are not many problems to agree, and each has creative freedom. We work with fabric, thread, wool, buttons, ribbons .... a lot of things! The inspiration you get working, and out into the street, people watching, shopping, books, photos ... anything can inspire!
- What you want to become Horse Winner What are your goals?
We want to keep doing things with care and do what we like, and likes people.
-Finally, what advice would you give to those people interested in hand made it want to pursue it as a business.

Although we do not like giving advice, I think we could say is that we must try to do things right and be consistent.
Thank you, Girls! Pd
track Now I give myself, the event is called Festivalet !

George Wash Bridge Toll

interview and track on amazing events I

Re-open this blog after months in which we are immersed in the print edition of We love crafts. Step by step, we will keep you informed.

coming back and do the best, with an interview with the "crafters" that make Dumbo, a couple who are presented as if they had done in the 1,2,3, entrepreneur, initiator of first group in Barcelona Etsy, which has much to tell about his passion: the world "Handmade", and are an example of how fingers touching the fruit of freedom to do what you like.

Also, look at this interview a track, something will happen soon but we can not reveal yet ...

- Who am I? We

Deborah (28) and Arieh (31) , we are engaged and living in Barcelona. We like old things, good movies, good music, good books, cats soft, sunny beaches, the cabins in the forest and hot dogs. We like movies of Dario Argento, David Lynch, Wong Kar Wai and Quentin Tarantino, we are moved to Nacho Vegas, Max Richter and Leonard Cohen, and before bed we read ee cummings or Patricia Highsmith. Of course these are only shared in reality are very different.

"You work from Barcelona, where an event will occur soon I simply special you give us a clue. Besides, what has this city's most creative designers are there, Is it a influent of inspiration? Barcelona

we like and dislike in equal measure. What we really want is to live in the countryside and near the sea, lost everything and everyone, with a very large and bright studio, surrounded by animals, wildflowers, fruit trees and singing birds give us good morning. With a film in the original and Amazon delivery in a nearby town and ADSL at home, because in reality, inspiration is found on the Internet: all that is outside is inside. But then again, being on the tour we purchase materials, meet people related to what we like (and thanks to Dumbo are getting more and more new friends we met along the way), to participate in events, go to exhibitions and grow a little community " handmade ('ve created the Etsy team Barcelona, which grows more and more and is a way to make visible a culture of "craft", uniting with common goals).

on the event, just say that we will be surrounded by the crème de la crème of handmade Barcelona (or so it seems to us to us.) Nothing massive, in a welcoming and dates. It has very good paints and we are thrilled to introduce our new things there.

- Why did you decide to be designers?

never say of ourselves that we are designers, the truth is that we have studied film and do not feel or "designers" or "artists" or anything. In fact do not even know to draw well. We were just tired of our work and the kind of life that mark us and the lack of goals we imposed. Start with Dumbo was a response to a need, to spend our time doing things we like, creating and giving concrete form to our ideas. We have many claims, try to do things nice and look for feedback on the other side.

"How is your creative process, what materials you use, what inspires you, how you work ...

Going a bit half, we're handing out tasks as leave or depending on who you want to do what. One thinks of something, the other draws, the other short papers, the other the varnish, the other doubles (this is always Ari, who is the master in origami), one prepares the workspace, the other clean, one added and one removed. And finally get something we like them both and it's never just one job. We do screen printing, origami, sew, desc, drawing, cutting, put chains, mold, bound, print, think and rethink. Whatever. We are very curious and like to try everything. If it were up to us, we would be doing all day courses this and that, if we had to choose one phrase to define it would surely be "knowledge does not take place."

- What you want to become Dumbo What are your goals?

Although not our main occupation, we want Dumbo always be there to be doing what we want, as a tool to unleash our creative needs. We take very serious about fashion, we will not do even two or four collections a year, not going with the seasons and if anything happens we are not simply because we do nothing. Obviously we are not rich with this, but it will always be an escape route and a declaration of intent of how we relate to the world. We believe in the handmade and we do things with your hands makes you feel better and better. We believe in creativity.

-Finally, what advice would you give to those people interested in hand made it want to pursue it as a business.

Surely we are not the best example, but our only advice is to be themselves. Do not listen or their friends or relatives. They are released. Do what they feel they have to do what comes from within, to practice as often as needed, to enjoy their time with their creativity. That relate to like-minded people, to open a blog, make new friends "crafters" and share with them techniques, problems and solutions. And then, if you sell what you do, the better. And if not sold, to see what they can improve but do not lose hope. We believe that money on something like this, is secondary . Very minor.

Thanks, guys!

Marypepapop has been one of my recent discoveries in the world of handmade . I met her through the blog of Jewel and since then I have not failed to follow the track. The clothing and accessories firm has just introduced Marypepa Jukebox, a collection of five shirts inspired by the 50, 60 and 70 , where the link is the music that begins to emerge in the 50 and has a blast in the 70's: rock n 'roll to be heard in the old jukebox, jukebox, jukeboxes, jukebox ...

Maria Jose began the journey of Marypepapop last summer. Illusion charged bloggosfera ran for a project dedicated to the craft of accessories and shirts. The inspiration of this young student Cordoba Art History always comes from the vintage and retro styles of the 60's, with some touches of color typical of 80.

With its new line of shirts, for whose presentation has prepared a magnificent photo shoot very neat and clean, Marypepapop has won the hearts of many netizens. No wonder they are original, funny and full of personality. The vintage baby, the baby Yeye, the baby retro, seventies and the baby girl Yeye have come to revolutionize the summer.

Eminent Combination Lock Instructions

Hanging by a thread, felt funny and idols

The bloggosfera never ceases to amaze me, not a week where you do not make a discovery that leaves me open-mouthed. A few months ago I discovered Hanging by a thread , and I was amazed by the originality and fun of his creations. One week I wanted to share with you this incredible discovery.

Hanging by a thread is formed by two friends Madrid : Elena is a graphic designer and multimedia Laura, who is an illustrator. Known since school and have always studied together and the same. His recent studies were in Art School Number Ten in the Superior Studies in Graphic Design. Last year, while preparing their final projects the idea of creating a blog to sell brooches , " one hand to distract a bit of graphic design, we think a lot of fun clips to make people laugh, and get something else money while we finished our studies. "

If there is anything that draws attention from the work of Hanging by a thread is the presentation made of his creations. Because she has succeeded in giving new life to a material used to satiety as the felt. " Once we set up and snaps presentation started thinking it was something different from usual . First we integrate them with other funds of films that were related to the pin but we saw that the clasp did not work because it was indistinguishable from the background. As I was mixing in my project Kitamiedos illustration and design I proposed to Ellen to make a mix as well with the clips, so we fun and related to each clip to your presentation, and it was in black and white and simple lines to always stressed more the brooch ".

As if the pictures come alive and leave the precious paper clips become felt. Everything you see around is inspiring, from a rugby player vampire, a piggy bank or a pitcher of beer, Woody Allen or a dinosaur. You can see all their designs on your blog and contact with them if you want to look any email colgandodeunhilo@gmail.com

The future for these two friends is presented full of dreams and professional projects. now Elena and Laura are a little more focused on their work in the production of new clips, so go slowly forward in the design and manufacture of the brooch. Elena to his work as multimedia designer in the day to day trying to improve and learn more to get to set up a design studio and as illustrator Laura get a publisher to publish their Kitamiedos , engage children illustration and working with her friend Elena as an illustrator in his design studio.

We Love Crafts Since we wish you luck and hope you continue to delight us with their wonderful creations!

Skating For A First Date?

buttons, giving life to wood posts with sections

Again, navigating the vast ocean full of treasures that is Etsy, I've found a new wonder creation. This time it is the work of Bright Color Art , a couple of trades, Barbara and Mark , carrying nearly twenty years married and living in Orlando (Florida) . For many years develop together a common creative activity. Both were born and raised in Cuba , where both studied architecture.

All his creations are made with acrylic paint on wood and within its wide variety of models have one thing in common: the color . Barbara and Mark love to play with color and combinations. Delicate and colorful brooches and earrings , wall for switches and action figures. A whole zoo of owls, dragonflies, dolphins, frogs, horses, unicorns, parrots ... In addition to a cozy dolls named as delicate as Alina, Delia, Odalys ... as part of the series Chiquitin, authentic miniatures looked after every detail and worked with care and dedication.

The store Bright Color Art on Etsy is always full of beautiful pieces to offer, and incorporates new features frequently. As they say " work very hard to pigeonhole and become no slot machines to print. Almost weekly incorporate new things and explore different themes ."

Pins cost $ 15 and light fixtures between 25 and 30. Do you ship to Spain with a variable cost based on package weight between 2.50 and $ 6. Remember that you can easily buy etsy through PayPal . I have yet hesitant to choose which of all these wonders I'll stay, but I think an owl and a doll will soon be home.

Which do you stay you?
